Vạn Xuân (萬春) was the national name of Vietnam during a period of independence under the Former Ly Dynasty and King Trieu Viet from 544 to 602. In February 544, after defeating the Liang Dynasty, Ly Bi proclaimed Emperor and named the country Van Xuan, with the capital at O Dien Thanh, Ha Mo, Dan Phuong district, Hanoi today.
